Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Ben Ward as Managing Director, Victoria, in addition to his current role as Head of Office Leasing, Victoria.

The appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to strong market-led leadership, with Mr Ward continuing to maintain a hands-on focus on office leasing and his longstanding client relationships, while also leading the Victoria business through its next phase of growth.

With almost 27 years’ experience, Mr Ward has been a central figure in the Victorian office leasing market and within Cushman & Wakefield’s leadership team, recognised for his deep market knowledge, client-first approach and ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

His dual role ensures continuity for clients while strengthening strategic leadership across the broader Victorian platform. Mr Ward succeeds Luke Etherington, who will continue to play a key role within the business.

Noral Wild, Chief Executive – Australia, New Zealand and North Asia, said the appointment reflects both depth of talent and clear strategic intent. “Ben is an exceptional leader with a strong track record in office leasing and an unwavering focus on clients.

“His appointment as Managing Director, Victoria, while continuing to lead our Office Leasing business, ensures we remain closely connected to the market while positioning the Victorian business for its next stage of growth”.

Mr Ward said he was looking forward to continuing his work with office leasing clients while taking on the broader leadership role.

“Victoria remains a critical market for Cushman & Wakefield, and office leasing continues to be central to our client offering,” he said.

“I’m excited to build on the strong foundations already in place and will continue working closely with our office leasing clients and lead the broader Victorian business as we grow and evolve.”

Mr Etherington said the transition reflects the firm’s momentum and future focus. “It has been a privilege to lead the Victorian business, and I’m looking forward to offering ongoing support to Ben and the Victorian team.”
