Mark Byers has over 30 years of experience with Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate. He has been with the firm since its inception in 1987 and currently serves as President. In this role, Mark oversees all aspects of the company’s day-to-day business operations and provides leadership for the firm’s brokerage and property management departments. In addition, Mark is an active member of the firm’s industrial brokerage team, specializing in industrial tenant representation and brokerage, industrial planning and development, and site selection.

During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield / EGS, Mark has been involved in numerous high-profile projects and transactions, representing clients with both a local and national presence.  He has also led the company’s development and acquisition efforts of speculative, build-to-suit and property acquisition of industrial space in the Southeast.  His clients value his opinions and expertise and trust him as an advisor and advocate.  His longevity in the commercial real estate market has given him an opportunity to build deep relationships with many clients providing for them valuable expertise on their real estate, transportation and logistics issues.  Mark gives leadership to his clients with a confidence that has been earned from his professional successes.

Mark is a graduate of The University of Alabama and a Life Member of the Birmingham Association of Realtors® Million Dollar Sales Club.  He is an individual member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), as well as a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Supply Chain Solutions Group (GSCS).
