About

Jonathan Lang joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2026 as a Director in the Self-Storage practice group.  Based in southern California, Lang is a member of a team that values more than $2.75 billion in quarterly self-storage portfolios and single assets. He has focused on self-storage since the start of his appraisal career in 2009, specializing in the economics of self-storage: data, research, market reports, feasibility, valuation and consultation.

Co-Authored the second edition of “Self-Storage Economics and Appraisal”, published by the Appraisal Institute in 2025 with R. Christian Sonne, CRE, MAI, FRICS.

Prior to returning to Cushman & Wakefield, Lang served as a vice president with Newmark for seven years, CBRE for four years and five years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he started his appraisal career in 2009.
