John Alexander joined Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey in 2025. As a key member of a specialized corporate services team, he integrates market intelligence, agency leasing, and multi-faceted brokerage functions to drive portfolio growth and deliver tailored solutions for major landlords and corporate occupiers.

Drawing on a rigorous Business Development and Marketing background, John is currently managing a range of tenant requirements throughout North and Central Jersey, specializing in identifying strategic opportunities for industrial and office users. He complements his tenant-focused work with active involvement in Jersey City agency leasing, ensuring a well-rounded perspective on asset positioning. A Brooklyn native, John’s dual-market perspective and boots-on-the-ground knowledge of both the NY and NJ corridors allow him to bring a unique, high-energy mindset to every assignment.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, John established a strong foundation in commercial real estate as a Valuations and Advisory intern at the firm’s New York City office. During this time, he contributed to complex corporate appraisal reports for properties across the five boroughs, conducting property comparisons and land evaluations for future development projects. Additionally, John gained extensive experience in high-volume business development and leadership as a Supervisor at Wilson-Bennett Technology. In this capacity, he managed a large team dedicated to institutional fundraising, mastering sophisticated sales techniques and persuasion strategies to optimize engagement with a diverse group of demographics.

John earned his Bachelor of Science In Business Administration from Binghamton University's School of Management.
