About

Duane joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2022. As one of the team’s most senior asset managers, Duane plays an essential role in managing client assets and expanding Cushman & Wakefield’s America’s ThirdParty Asset Management platform. He is responsible for developing and executing unique strategies for client portfolios.

Mr. Hale has over 30 years of institutional real estate experience. Mr. Hale has made over $3 billion in acquisitions and $600 million in sales. Mr. Hale’s acquisitions were acquired in wholly owned and Joint Venture structures and range from core to opportunistic. Duane has performed asset management and oversight duties for over $7 billion in institutional investment grade assets.

In Mr. Hale’s last assignment with Nuveen, he was responsible for the $1.4 billion regional asset management responsibilities of the Mid Atlantic Multifamily portfolio. Prior to this Mr. Hale was the Regional Senior Director for the $5.3 billion Mid Atlantic Portfolio with oversight of Asset Management and Sales Transactions. Prior to his employment with Nuveen/TIAA, Mr. Hale spent the majority of his real estate career with Prudential (PGIM).

In his latest position with Prudential Mr. Hale was on the Southern California acquisitions team with direct responsibility for San Diego, Orange and LA county. In this position Mr. Hale underwrote, sourced and structured approximately $1billion in Joint Venture and wholly owned approved opportunities.
