About

René, a Partner in Global Occupier Services, has over 15 years of industry expertise and currently leads the Strategy Analytics team in EMEA. Within the Integrated Portfolio Management team, he drives portfolio strategy and analytics for key Occupier clients.

His unique skill is creatively combining and interpreting different data layers to solve client-specific challenges and unlock opportunities. By introducing ideas to our key occupier clients, he brings innovative strategy, data analytics and people together.

With background in architecture, René started as a Strategic Consultant in the Netherlands Tenant Representation team and later joined the EMEA-wide Strategic Consulting team.

Rene is Co-Head of the M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) service line to occupiers with a specialisation in Pre-M&A analytics and consultancy. He guides occupiers on global (de)mergers by strategically positioning real estate, benchmarking the existing portfolio, developing specific property strategies and managing execution of various activities.

Combining advanced geospatial analytic tools and business intelligence software, we provide quality insights into real estate portfolio opportunities, city selection, labor mapping, transport and commute, and the availability of government incentives. We implement a client-driven approach to real estate with proactive portfolio management and opportunity identification. We deem portfolio and location analytics integral to our Integrated Portfolio Management offering – this allows us to drive client insight and strategy as part of an embedded offering.
