- As part of its strategy to drive engagement and strengthen its experiential positioning, UBBO is reinforcing its Brand Events area, with the aim of deepening the connection between brands and visitors.
- Cushman & Wakefield will contribute its expertise in the commercialisation of these spaces, implementing a professionalised model aligned with the asset’s overall strategy.
Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has been appointed to lead the commercialisation of common areas at UBBO shopping resort, one of the leading retail and leisure destinations in the Lisbon metropolitan area. With this mandate, the consultancy further strengthens its positioning in the management and activation of high‑impact commercial spaces for brands.
As part of its strategy to drive footfall and enhance its experiential positioning, UBBO is investing in the development of this area with the objective of strengthening the relationship between brands and visitors. The shopping centre’s common areas are designed as a strategic environment for product launches, brand activations, exhibitions, events and the introduction of new brands through kiosk formats, contributing to an enriched visitor experience.
Within this context, Cushman & Wakefield will apply its expertise in the commercialisation of these spaces, implementing a professionalised model aligned with the asset’s strategic vision. The company will help reinforce UBBO’s image as a benchmark destination for national and international brands seeking visibility in a large‑scale retail environment.
One of the key pillars of this evolution is the digitalisation of the management model, through the incorporation of technological tools that will optimise the booking and contracting processes for spaces, facilitate the planning of activations, and improve relationships with brands and agencies.
Opened in 2009, UBBO features more than 280 stores, a gross lettable area of 127,469 sqm, and welcomes 22 million visitors per year. The centre has been recognised as the best shopping centre in the Lisbon area by Consumer Choice for seven consecutive years (2020–2026), reinforcing its positioning as a leading shopping resort.
UBBO offers a strong commercial mix, including brands such as Primark, Inditex Group, H&M, KidZania and El Corte Inglés, among others.
