Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) advised on the sale of three leased retail units located within the Terraços de Bragança development, with a total area of 460 sq m, situated on Rua do Alecrim in Lisbon.
The consultancy represented the seller, the Imodesenvolvimento Fund, managed by Imopólis S.G.O.I.C., S.A., in this transaction, which involved two private investors.
“In a context of limited supply, High Street Retail in central and tourist locations remains a natural choice for Family Offices and private investors, combining predictable income, liquidity and long-term asset appreciation,” comments Inês Sousa, Head of Private Wealth at Cushman & Wakefield.
The Terraços de Bragança development is a residential and commercial architectural complex located on Rua do Alecrim, in the Chiado district of Lisbon, designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. Situated between Rua do Alecrim and Rua António Maria Cardoso, the development integrates residential, retail and office uses in a contemporary project that engages with the scale and architectural identity of the city’s historic centre.
Completed in the early 2000s, the project stands out for the way it combines contemporary architecture with references to Lisbon’s traditional character, enhancing the urban heritage and offering outdoor terrace spaces that give the development its name.
